ENROLLMENT

“Our challenge isn’t so much to teach children about the natural world, but to find ways to sustain the instinctive connections they already carry.” ~ Terry Krautwurst

We hope that enrolling families are confident that this will be the best place for their family until their child is ready to go to Kindergarten.  This is a big commitment!  While we understand that unforeseeable life changes affect the future, we strongly encourage each family to perform enough research to make an intentional and informed choice that will contribute to the quality, consistency, and sense of community of our programs.

We suggest creating a family plan for beginning out-of-home care.

Helpful topics to consider:

What is our flexibility for starting care?

What do we hope this new community will offer our child, us as parents, and our family?

What are some examples of factors that will affect our choice?

Location, Cost, Size, Setting, Age Ranges

Philosophical/Pedagogical Approach, Outdoor space/time, Art and Science Opportunities

Reputation, Community Involvement

Extra Curricular opportunities (such as movement, music, and language exposure)

Teacher Support: Training Procedures, Ratios,On-going Training opportunities, whether breaks are covered, health insurance, paid vacation/holiday time, livable wages, professional development funds, sense of ownership over the classroom.

Fill Out Our Contact Form

We are available for all of your initial questions, requests for clarifications, thoughts, or wonderings.  Please include your child's date of birth or due date, your ideal days/start date (and any flexibility), and how you heard about us.

Schedule a Tour
Our visits are available after school hours at both schools and in the mornings on Fridays for the Infant House.  In your email, please include a few dates that work for you.  After you've attended this after-hours visit, you may schedule an observation visit during business hours.

Talk to current families
We have a a variety of families who are happy and to discuss their experience here!  Do you want to talk to someone who has been here since we opened?  Someone who enrolled more recently?  Someone with siblings here?
